This is not, as I had worried, a bad 80’s musical - so already I liked it better! Rather it’s an entertaining, if predictable, play about forty-somethings being forty-something and rather wishing they could be twenty-something again so they wouldn’t make such a mess of it!
Interspersed with perhaps not enough 80’s music and a few too many corny lines, an average script is made the most of by the enthusiastic - and well dressed - cast.
An entertaining way to spend an early Edinburgh evening and remind yourself why you definitely want to avoid that mid-life crisis!
