This classic, Scottish novel is brought to life by this very talented group. Set in 1932, Miss Jean Brodie takes up the position of a teacher at a school in Edinburgh where she meets a very impressionable group of schoolgirls, who she brands her ‘Brodie Girls’.
Yvonne Waring delights the audience in the title role, performing with natural ease and talent. The rest of the cast were exceptional in their roles, especially the schoolgirls who provide bundles of laughs throughout. The soundtrack is a good interlude, drumming up the Scottish spirit of the play.
Overall it was, as Miss Brodie would say the “creme de la creme” of theatre.
